CLIENT UNDERSTANDS THAT UPON ENTERING A CATERING CONTRACT, NV CATERING™ IS COMMITTING TIME AND RESOURCES TO THIS EVENT AND THUS CANCELLATION WOULD RESULT IN LOSS OF INCOME AND OTHER LOST BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES IN AN AMOUNT DIFFICULT TO PRECISELY CALCULATE. THEREFORE, THE FOLLOWING CANCELLATION LIMITATIONS WILL APPLY.
IF THE EVENT IS CANCELLED BY THE CLIENT, VENUE OR FORCE MAJEURE (ACTS OUTSIDE OF HUMAN CONTROL SUCH AS WEATHER, FLOODS, NATURAL DISASTERS, MEDICAL EMERGENCY, PUBLIC HEALTH CRISIS OR SOMETHING TRAGIC IN WHICH NO ONE CAN BE HELD RESPONSIBLE) 60 DAYS OR MORE FROM EVENT DATE, THE RETAINER IS FORFEITED IN FULL. IF THE EVENT IS CANCELLED BETWEEN 59 AND 21 DAYS FROM EVENT DATE, 75% OF ALL PREPAYMENTS (LESS $500.00 RETAINER & 8% ADMINISTRATIVE FEES) ARE RETURNED TO CLIENT. IF THE EVENT IS CANCELLED BETWEEN 20 DAYS AND 1 DAY FROM EVENT DATE 50% OF ALL PREPAYMENTS (LESS $500.00 RETAINER & 8% ADMINISTRATIVE FEES) ARE RETURNED TO CLIENT.
